Message From The President

Welcome to the new home of the New York State Young Democrats! The New York State Young Democrats is the official youth arm of the New York State Democratic Committee. We represent Young Democrats between the ages of 16-36 in all of New York's 62 counties.

2008 was a very historic year for the New York State Young Democrats. Not only did we elect Barack Obama as the 44th President of the United States, but together we took back control of the New York State Senate, and we increased our Democratic majority in our Congressional Delegation. This would not have been possible had it not been for the young voters of New York State.

Stephanie Hausner Appointed As YDA DNC Woman By YDA President Crystal Strait PDF Print E-mail

After Crystal Strait was elected President of the Young Democrats of America at the 2009 YDA National Convention, she appointed Stephanie Hausner to the vacant position of DNC Woman. Stephanie has been serving as YDA Secretary for the past two years. The Young Democrats of America have three seats no the Democratic National Committee. We are proud that Stephanie will be representing us on the Democratic National Committee. CONGRAT'S STEPHANIE!
